Live Feed

Formation Lap Time

The starting lap is underway.

Circuit Details

There are 19 laps of the longest circuit in Formula 1, the commentator points out.

Final Moments

The last moments is underway.

Driver Situation

One point in Max Verstappen's favour: his teammate Yuki Tsunoda is ahead of him by a single position. It's improbable to challenge the team's lead driver.

Media Conversations

Sky interviewing Sky currently: the analyst is with Mercedes.

Karun Chandhok is looking forward to 2026, interviewing the engineer about his promotion to Aston Martin lead role.

Grid Details

There are only 16 cars on the grid. It was another poor grid-setting session for the driver: following his result of twentieth and final in Las Vegas, resulting in an eighth position in the main race, he did not manage to make it out of the first qualifying segment once more on Friday. Ferrari have as a result adjusted to his setup and so he begins from the starting area.

Aston Martin's Lance Stroll and the Alpine duo of Gasly and Colapinto are all starting from the same position.

Racer Statements

"We'll use the experience for the next day," states Hadjar, 11th on the grid. Expect a lot of that.

Team Standings

It's not all about the drivers' title: The team have dominated the constructors' gong but the team, with a forty-point advantage over Red Bull, will be hoping to seal second place this weekend. George Russell can assist in this goal from the front row, and Antonelli will start just behind the leader.

Past Performance

Piastri won that day – as he did last year, as well. The driver from McLaren is attempting a hat-trick.

Sprint Race Value

Alright, approximately twenty minutes remaining till the short race gets under way. Barring disaster, its main importance is as an indication of future events, instead of significant in its own right, with only eight points awarded to the victor. However, second place in this race was enough for the driver to become champion in a prior season.

Max Verstappen wins the championship following his teammate's accident of the short race.
